The ultimate pizza and pasta wine table wine. Clean notes of cherry shaded with cocoa on the nose. Very soft and fleshy but still balanced with an admirable purity of fruit. The wine finishes very clean and with good length. This is an easy drinking, verstile wine that still has loads of Montepulciano character. Very food-friendly wine. We love to pair with Chicken Parm!
91 POINTS, Vinous. "Deep red-ruby. Perfumed, inviting nose combines cassis, black cherry, licorice, bitter chocolate and an extremely intense note of violet. Wonderfully juicy and fine-grained, offering a lively texture and almost aromatic set of floral and dark fruit flavors.
Finishes very long, with a delicate herbal element and outstanding savory lift. This is a truly outstanding Montepulciano d’Abruzzo. Lots of wine for the money. Very well done!"
